Amanda believes that the quality of our relationships, with ourselves and with others, has a profound impact on our quality of life and health. She provides family, partner, and individual therapy to serve these important relationships while providing a supportive and accountable space. Her approach draws from systemic, empowerment, narrative, experiential, emotionally focused, social justice, and somatic theories.
Amanda works with her clients to recognize and celebrate the strengths that they, and their relationships, already have while collaboratively making sense of the aspects of their lives that currently do not align with the quality of life that they are seeking. She then works together with her clients to understand what changes will be beneficial and how she can support them in making these changes through therapy and community resourcing. These changes may include addressing needs related to relationship difficulties, family conflict, identity, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, and needs unique to LGBTQIA+, foster care, and adoption.
Amanda provides both in office and telehealth services. She will support monitoring the potential impact of the type of service delivery that you need and implementing any beneficial strategies to ensure the quality of your experience.
