Amanda has been providing clinical supervision for licensure candidates since 2022. She supervises social work, clinical social work, and addiction counselor candidates. Amanda's supervision style integrates systemic, psychodynamic, developmental, and interpersonal supervision models.

Amanda is attentive to developing a mutual understanding of the desired areas of professional development and adjusting her supervision approach to meet the developmental needs of those she supervises. She works with her supervisees to systemically assess and support their clients through building and implementing skills related to understanding the external influences impacting the relationships clients have with themselves and others, conceptualizing a holistic understanding of a client's presentation including implementing holistic interventions, and identifying and referring to needed and wanted resources.

Amanda recognizes that the supervision relationship itself is able to support access to experiential learning and increasing insight of how a supervisee's personal life experience influences their theory of change and how they approach supporting their clients in the therapeutic process.
